“Je Suis Charlie”, a tribute mural in Paris, France brought by Gris1 DMV
Street artist Gris1 from the urban group Da Mental Vaporz painted this new tribute named “ Je suis Charlie” in memoriam of the victims of the terrorist attack. Charlie Hebdo represents a satirical weekly with cartoons, reports, polemics, and jokes content. At the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo took place the killing of twelve, including staff cartoonists Charb, Cabu, Honoré, Tignous and Wolinski, economist Bernard Maris and two police officers standing guard at the magazine, and wounding eleven, four of them really badly by three Islamist hitmen.
Gris 1 paid his respects by working at this impressive and meaningful mural featuring a tank with a green pencil as his weapon. The tank wears a peace and love sign and the Hebdo writing as you can notice in the images below.
