French street artist Julien Malland , better known as Seth Globepainter , travels around the world, creating large scale murals using the walls by the streets as canvas. Especially impressive of his murals is the way it interacts with the surroundings. “ I’m inspired by the environment where I’m painting, ” Malland told Bored Panda . “ It can be a social, cultural, or political situation, or only the shape of the wall. ” SETH ‘s works will be present in Bali, at TROPICA FESTIVAL , 13-18 July 2016. Exploring the abandoned houses of Canggu , Julian Malland brought to life some of his signature imagery for the locals to enjoy. MoMa PS1 authorized German artist Katharina Grosse to spray-paint Superstorm Sandy ruin at the Gateway National Recreation Area at Fort Tilden , New York , for the 2016 edition of its ongoing series “ Rockaway “. The small building was deemed structurally unsafe in 2013 following Hurricane Sandy, which devastated the area, and is set to be demolished later this year. Before destruction, Grosse used a palette of reds, oranges, pinks and white influenced by the area’s sunsets to turn the building into an art installation. “ She uses a technique in which brightly colored paint is sprayed directly onto site-specific structures. In doing so, she incorporates both the architectural features of the space, and materials located in its immediate vicinity, such as sand, trees, sea grass and pavement ,” according to a project description. #KatharinaGrosse #Rockaway #Spraypaint

LUDO is a 30 something, born in Paris, street artist. He loves to create graphics and  wheat pasting . His street art includes a specialty of street poster art that can be applied into walls quickly and effectively as wheat paste. Like most street artists, it is very difficult to find any personal information about him. The artist prefers to emphasize on the way society takes nature for granted. His work focuses on our surroundings and effects all while providing a form of humility. Jas , aka  Jas Charanjiva , is a muralist born in the UK, raised in Toronto and SF, further evolved in NYC and now living in Mumbai. “In a place like India where people throw garbage and litter (often because there are no public garbage cans), I throw up art without permission. I don’t see why I can’t and shouldn’t. If the authorities tell me to stop, I’ll tell them to clean up the city first,” says the young lady. Her most well-known piece is called Don’t Mess With Me (better known on the streets as The Pink Lady ). She created her after the December 2012 fatal gang rape in Delhi. Jas is a self-taught artist. At the age of 12 while living in California she received her first professional skateboard and loved the art on the back of its deck. This led to her obsession with underground art. Vive la France and “la joie de vivre”! Let’s speak French today, talking about  Mademoiselle Maurice who we already met here ! Paying homage to the ever-changing moon that inhabits the skies above Earth, she just finished an outstanding piece of art called LUNAR CYCLE . Her signature origami birds now cover the area of 2000 square meters, composing the largest urban mural ever made in the French capital. Realized in close collaboration with Mathgoth Gallery , the piece makes a singular work of public art that will embellish the town for a certain period of time. Each origami is painted after folding using a solution deemed “Maurigami” by Mademoiselle Maurice, making the pieces nearly indestructible. Fin DAC is a London-based graffiti artist – famous for his portrait works. He calls his style Urban Aesthetics – he developed and embraced an atypical paint/stencil style that ignores what we knew about street art almost completely. A self-taught and non-conformist artist, Fin DAC ‘s realist work and skills have earned him an incredibly successful solo show in 2010 and have made him a regular participant in gallery shows. He has just returned from what he described as “an inspiring, cultural project” in one of his favourite places Cartagena , Colombia . NYCHOS is an Austrian street artist. Surrounded by dead animals while he was little, and growing up in the 80’s when heavy metal was very popular, the anatomy of the dead animals and the 80’s culture became Nychos’ inspiration. Over the time, he developed a distinctive and recognizable style which stands out with his dissections and cross sections of human and animal bodies. In 2005, Nychos founded Rabbit Eye Movement , which originally started as a street art concept. It nourishes the idea notion of creative destruction and the breakdown of society.  The Rabbit Eye Movement Art Space is now a full-time gallery and agency dedicated to pushing the same movement that created it. Some of the members of REM also include Kati, who now works as the Art Space’s manager; Marije, who has been a member since 2003; and Christian who has started working closely with Nychos since 2012.
