“Dots To Lines” is a portrait of Chaim Machlev, a decorated Tattooer & Artist and owner of the Berlin, Germany based tattoo studio “Dots To Lines”. It provides insight on several work sessions and accompanies him on different occasions, over the course of a year. Carried by the narration of his unusual path that led him from a “conventional” lifestyle in Tel-Aviv, Israel to a very distinct mind set and a cosmopolitan way of life, it underlines his unique style of tattooing which puts the art in the focus and feeds of emotions and the shared experience.
