Meet the French artist Matthieu Laine, aka GRAFFMATT from Chambéry, Savoy, whose portfolio is defined by various painting techniques on areas such as wood, canvas, collage and cardboard.
His latest project entitled “CAPHARNAÜM“, in Aix-Les-Bains,France, is an artistic performance which covers an apartment in a building that will be soon tear down. GRAFFMATT’s work features a series of portraits that configure the pain of its former residents. The bleak atmosphere of the decayed surrounding was set up by different media- spray paint disused pallets , shipping cardboards, kraft, and acrylic. Check out his stunning murals!
