Paris Duperré

Maybe because days look better when they’re (techni)colored, the French design agency Ill-Studio and fashion brand Pigalle have redesigned and repainted the Paris Duperré basketball court, with support from Nike.

The Pigalle logo, designed by Ill-Studio, is emblazoned at the centre of the court, honouring Stephane Ashpool’s training with local kids. Stephane, who is the Pigalle founder, has also posted a video of the redesign.

The most recent design unveiled yesterday on Instagram shows the court has been painted in gradated hues of fuschia, dark blue, canary yellow and burnt orange.

The image is credited to photographer and set designer Sebastien Michelini. (via It’s Nice That)
