Meet Louis Masai , the artist who spreads art as a form of connecting the society with environment . Wondering about the fact why people would care about matters that don’t affect them on a daily basis, the artist decided upon related illegal murals which were done in one day on Brick Lane. He teamed up with Jim Vision for project “Save the Bees” in order to spread the message in an alternative, entertaining way. Besides the street art pieces, the guys regard gathering people of whose occupation depend on bees. Figures such as Hiver beer, Dead Gents clothing and Inkkas have involved for enlightening the individual’s frame of mind. Also, they made up a platform where they could bestow wildflowers seed for people to make a small difference in the environment but significant. French artist JR was delegated by The New York Times Magazine to paint a massive art work in the triangle situated below New York City’s Flatiron Building. The large-scale pasting will appear in the publication’s “Walking New York” number, the mural’s theme designed to reflect the issue’s name. Andrew Warman created this fun time-lapse for New York Times, in which he concentrated the whole process of the pasting made by JR and his team. Artist and filmmaker Julien de Casabianca was inspired by the last year trip to Louvre where he came across an Ingres painting of a female prisoner somehow hidden in a corner of the museum. The idea that started this project was configured by the artist’s desire of revealing the less known artwork to the world. That way the image projected onto the streets can be seen a large public that may never visit Louvre. So is how the Outings Project started taking place. Since the online mainstreaming of the artwork’s photos, people in at least 18 countries such as- London, Barcelona, Chicago, Rome, and elsewhere. The global participation was totally spontaneous. Being asked about the possibility of a decontextualized artwork or without attribution, he responded- “we don’t want to tell you something that you don’t know, and we don’t want people to feel ignorant. You have just to feel that [the artwork] is ancient and shifted, you have just to be touched by the emotion, by the esthetic, by the art.” The Outgoing Project wasn’t remarked only by the art lovers. Two museums in Madrid and Poland have also encouraged the artist to “play with their art in public.” Casabianca is now on a 12-city tour around the United States raising more unknown figures in local museums into the spotlight.
