  • Lisbon is Overthrowing Street Art Clichés through Creative Workshops for Older People

The generation gap is redrawn by connecting art. LATA 65 teaches older citizens a somewhat young form of art-graffiti. With the help of the workshops, the participants learn the history of urban art and make their own stencils and tags as they end to spread the street art around the city. The new-comer is mentored by a well-known artist in painting surfaces in bright colours of Lisbon. By raising the number of participants and audience of this art, Lata 65 hopes to demolish the many clichés that come along with street art through submitting it to different groups of people and as a bonus the city wears new colours and shapes. #Clichés #OlderPeople #Creative #lisbon #Workshops #streetart #Overthrowing

  • Loïc LeBeuf

Working in Geneva, Switzerland. He has been tattooing for about 2 years and a half. Loic likes the constant learning sensation that comes with tattooing. He stated that he’s amused by the fact that in 20 years he would still be learning new stuff through this passion of his that is tattooing. His style is scientific illustration and woodcut or, as he mentioned on his Instagram account ‘grotesque tattooing’. Loic’s tattoos are all in black ink, his linework is amazing and his use of geometric elements or dotwork really make the design complete and stand out. His favorite things to tattoo are “hybrids” as he stated, of surrealist objects. He works between two different worlds: the antique and surrealism – all mixed together and blended to give a poetic and disturbing side. Check his portofolio out for more woodcut & scientific illustration designs. #LoïcLeBeuf #tattoo #tatuaje #ink #tattooartist

  • Pis Saro

Tattoo artist from Crimea. Her style is somewhat sketchy and psychedelic. Some of Pis Saro’s designs have no outline, making them very soft looking, mostly using the watercolur technique, and some of them have a very well defined outline using geometric elements and colorblocking to make them stand out. Of course you can always combine the two (as she does) making for a very awesome design both bold and soft. Check her work out below. #PisSaro #tattoo #tatuaje #ink #tattooartist

  • Schwein

Working at Saint And Sinners Tattoolounge in Dessau-Rolau, Germany. His style is sketchy and neotraditional and you can also find some surrealist pieces in his portofolio. Schwein’s work is really amazing and mostly very colorful. His use of colours, amid the black bold and fine lines he uses for contouring really makes the tattoo stand out, sometimes opting for watercolouring or color-blocking. What I really liked is that in most of his designs you can find a little heart motif hidden somewhere. Check him out for more awesome and colorful tattoos! #tattoo #tatuaje #ink #Schwein #tattooartist

A new ingenious way of painting murals is brought by NYC-based artist, Sean Yoro aka Hula with the help of his surfboard, a bunch of acrylic paints, and a different location from the streets. The result is a series of breath-taking, lovely portraits of women bathing in the ocean, leaving us with the wonder if the rest of their bodies are underwater.
