MTO uncovers “The Death Of The Neighborhood” in Wynwood, Miami The French artist MTO also known as “Little San Juan”, and commonly accustomed with “El Barrio” as many Puerto Ricans began immigrating to this Miami neighbourhood from the island and north-eastern cities in the 1950s was in Wynwood, Miami with the occasion of working at his new mural. The artwork entitled “The death of the neighbourhood” wears a firm assertion over the local gentrification. Tony Goldman who is a developer influenced the evolution of Wynwood by creating a mecca out of the known graffiti.Also 30 artists from across the globe travelled to create the Wynwood Walls, fact which had as an outcome a great increase in what street art has to offer. Street artist finbarr dac based in London,Uk, which is also Artistic Director at urban/digital art brand Beautiful Crime, defines his style as an atypical paint/stencil approach. His works was exhibited along other artists’ projects as Goldie, Nick Walker, Jamie Reid and Jef Aerosol. He did advertisement work for The Royal Albert Hall, Armani, G-Star, Red Bull, Jaegermeister and London 2012. The Lovers&Friends mural covering a wall on Gough Street in Central Hong Kong was based on a game of colour and lines, portraying a black and white painted woman and man, the only splashes of orange and blue on the upper-side of the female respectively male’s face. Tattoo artist Stephan Negur, from Novorossiysk, with current residence in Saint Petersburg, Russia, inspires fear and terror through his art work by designing 3D skulls imprinted on skin. Carola Deutsch who is CEO at Decasa studied at HTL Ortwein school Graz for Art and Design specializing in Product design & presentation and painting. She participated in different workshops and presented various exhibitions. Since 2012 she became manager at Decasa in the Tattoo and Art field. Recently she has been the tattoo artist Guest-Spot at Tattoo Freestyle in Hamburg, Germany. Also on October 2014, she won the international “Tätowier Magazin newcomer contest”. Sabrina Deutsch graduated at the same school her specializing in arts and design. Beside the artistic part, Sabrina also plays the PR role. On art and design side we are exposed to murals, paintings, interior design, illustrations and graphics all developed under abstract and realism intertwined with surrealism influences. The self-expression and freedom creativity also plays a part on the tattoo field, the same influences can be noticed at detail level.
