Digital Illustrations by Tawny Chatmon Website | Instagram Within the past 3 years, Tawny Chatmon has redirected her signature style of ethereal sunlit photography into mediums outside of just photography. Tawny is a self-taught artist who has been working in the field of photography for the past 16+ years. Born in Tokyo, growing up an ‘army brat’, she had the unique opportunity to take in the cultures of three different continents all before the age of 12. By then she was in the United States and elbow-deep in her aunt’s theatre company. She studied theatrical arts from the age of 12 to early adulthood. After briefly attending a dramatic arts conservatory after high school, she switched paths and focused her interests on being behind the camera. For Chatmon, her photographs are the first layer which she manipulates and unite with other photographic components often lending to them the eyes of someone their elder and wiser and almost always exaggerating their hair. Thereafter she often adds overlappings of gold leaf, paint, digital collage, and illustration. Doing so, she produces a work that is more than just a work of photography but a new photographic expression. She currently resides in Maryland with her husband and three children.

Mark Tennant New York City-based artist originally from Baltimore, Maryland. Instagram Mark Tennant received a B.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art, in Baltimore, and an M.F.A. from the New York Academy of Art, in New York City. For the years 2008 and 2009, he was the Director of Graduate Fine Art Painting at Academy of Art University, in San Francisco, where he had been an instructor since 1998. Among other exhibitions, his paintings have twice been displayed in the Salon d’Automne, in Paris. JESS COCHRANE is an Australian contemporary visual artist living in London. Cochrane’s work questions the relationship between society, consumerism and pop culture. Her focus is on feminine beauty, illustrated through the application of paint over photographic images. Cochrane reflects upon insecurity and perfectionism in the modern age. Connecting the history of art, design and advertising, she plays on the idea of pop culture and its roots that are planted in both displaying and disguising parts of ourselves.
