After 23 years as a graffiti artist, FALKO is generally seen as an integral part of the foundation and development of South Africa’s graffiti scene. After a short attempt of studying graphic design, Falko decided to perfect the art form that kept him occupied during his years at high school. His work soon became a recognized feature around the Cape Flats, and eventually around the country. In a project called Once Upon a Town, Falko collaborates with Red Bull South Africa to travel to small towns across the country and paint some walls. “The reason why I come to small towns specifically, is because small towns need it the most”, says the artist. “I’m not coming in to save lives, I’m not coming here to preach, I’m not coming here to tell you to get an education. Street artist Louis Masai  is on a one-way mission to raise awareness on endangered creatures from UK wildlife. His London murals, including a hedgehog, beetle and sparrow, highlight species loss within the UK. After Louis moved to London two years ago, having spent the previous 10 years in Cornwall where he completed his fine art degree, his father saw the possibility of selling his work rather than simply painting for pleasure. The 34 year old graffiti girl, Panmela Castro , is a Brazilian artist who exploits graffiti as a platform to raise awareness on women’s rights and the popularity of domestic violence occurring to women in Brazil. The graffiti girl, also known as Anarkia Boladona , hoped that through her art, women in Brazil would realize that they have rights, and that there is legal protection for women. Panmela has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the School of Fine Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and is currently enrolled in the Master of Arts program at the State University of Rio de Janeiro . iNO  was assigned to create a new mural in a very central area downtown Athens, Greece on the occasion of a Public Information Campaign on the Hepatitis C disease. The Greek visual street artist created this super-large piece showing a faceless man blinded by his success in the hunt of money, however, he is actually sick and he doesn’t know it. Dobrowolski is a Polish artist. His favorite work topics spin around death, depression, war children, homeless people problems, addiction , narcissism . He binds those themes altogether by trying to show that all our day to day so-called problems are nothing in comparison to the preceding tragedy and thus we should simply appreciate our life, our moments, our days.
